Daniela Cruz Rodríguez is a Mexico City–based Production Designer working across cinema and advertising. Trained in Art History at UNAM and in Art Direction and Production Design at the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC), her practice is grounded in research-driven world-building and a strong visual sensibility. Her filmography includes Mente Revólver (Alhambra de Oro, Granada Film Festival), Efímera (FICG 2022). 

A member of the Production Designers Collective, she participated in the Production Designers Gathering in Greece, where she received one-on-one mentorship from Mark Worthington. In 2023, she cordinated CINEARQ, an international meeting focused on cinema, architecture, and production design, with the participation of Grant Major, Eugenio Caballero, Salvador Parra, Tod Chernausky, among others. She is the founder and director of the Biennial of Cinematic Scenarios (BIEC), a platform conceived for film students that explores production design through critical, historical, and speculative approaches, and which has featured guests such as Oscar Tello. 

She is also a professor at ENAC, a member of the Production Design Research and Education Network (PD-REN) and has served as a jury member at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FEISAL section), remaining actively engaged in both professional and educational film communities.
